At Carolina Hemp Hut, we take compliance seriously, and that starts with transparency. This page covers our Applicable Laws and Regulations for CBD, THC, Kratom, and Amanita Muscaria. Because each state follows its own set of rules, we’ve outlined the restrictions clearly to help you shop with confidence.

CBD and Other Hemp-Derived Cannabinoids

Carolina Hemp Hut complies with the 2018 Farm Bill for all our CBD and hemp-derived products. Under federal law, hemp includes any cannabis plant or derivative containing no more than 0.3% Delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis.

However, some states have tighter restrictions. Idaho, New Hampshire, and South Dakota only allow products with 0% Delta-9 THC. Because of this, we do not ship any product with detectable Delta-9 content to those states.

We stand by our products with full-panel Certificates of Analysis (COAs). All our hemp offerings are naturally derived, we never sell synthetics.

Delta-8 THC

All federal CBD guidelines also apply to Delta-8. In addition, we do not ship Delta-8 products to the following states:

Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia

This list may change as laws evolve, so check back if you’re unsure.

THCA Products

We hold THCA to the same standards as our other hemp products. Each product comes with a verified COA, and we monitor THC levels closely.

That said, some states have total THC limits that prevent us from shipping there. We do not ship THCA products to:

Arkansas, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont

These restrictions are based on laws that cap total THC (including THCA when heated) at 0.3%.

Kratom

Kratom laws vary even more,  not just by state but by city and county, too. Because of that, we do not ship Kratom products to:

States: Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Rhode Island, Wisconsin
Counties/Cities: Sarasota County (FL), San Diego (CA), Oceanside (CA), Alton (IL), Jerseyville (IL), Edwardsville County (IL), Columbus (MS), Union County (MS), Ascension (LA), Franklin (LA), Rapides (LA)

In addition, American Express does not allow Kratom transactions. As a result, we’ve disabled AMEX for all Kratom orders.

Amanita Muscaria

All of our Amanita Muscaria products are lab-tested and include results for Muscimol, Ibotenic Acid, Psilocybin, and Psilocin.

Although these products do not contain psilocybin or psilocin and our COAs confirm that Louisiana law prohibits Amanita Muscaria, so we do not ship there.
