How to read a COA in 60 seconds
Potency: Confirm the product name, batch/lot number, and the date tested. Check total cannabinoids and mg per serving.
Profile: Review the cannabinoid panel (e.g., CBD, minor cannabinoids).
Safety: Confirm the contaminant screens were completed (microbials, heavy metals, residual solvents) and that results meet limits.
Match: Make sure the COA’s batch number matches the number on your product label.
Age: Prefer COAs tested within the last 12 months or as required by the brand.
