Back in 1983, a group of locals in Hillsborough gathered downtown for a simple reason: good BBQ and good company.
What started as a small-town pig pickin’ quickly grew into something much bigger — a celebration of food, music, art, and community.
Fast forward to today, Hog Day Festival has become Hillsborough’s largest annual event, drawing thousands of visitors from across North Carolina.
For two days, River Park transforms into a lively hub filled with:
🔥 Smokers and BBQ pits serving up mouthwatering pulled pork and ribs
🎶 Live music and entertainment on stage all day long
🎨 Local artists and craft vendors showcasing their best work
🎡 Family-friendly fun with games, rides, and activities for all ages
