A “stoner movie” is a type of comedy film that is popular among people who enjoy using marijuana. Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004): This stoner comedy follows two friends, Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn), as they embark on a quest to satisfy their cravings for White Castle burgers. The duo encounter various obstacles along the way, including a racist police officer, a hitchhiking Neil Patrick Harris, and a escaped cheetah, all while trying to make it to the fast food chain. Super High Me (2007) In this documentary, comedian Doug Benson embarks on a 30-day challenge to smoke marijuana every day and document the effects it has on his physical and mental health, as well as his professional and personal life. Benson compares his experiences to that of Morgan Spurlock’s “Super Size Me,” and the film features interviews with experts on the topic of marijuana use, as well as hilarious commentary from Benson and his comedian friends.
